Petrohub Launches Tech Hub To Enhance Efficiency In Petroleum Products Supply

Petrohub, a stakeholder in the Nigeria’s oil and gas downstream sector is set to officially launch its innovation master plan that will help to boost sales, process of supply of petroleum products and other related activities in the petroleum value chain through the internet.

According to one of the brains behind the automated initiative, Mr Kamal Lawal, he described the innovation as a veritable fool-proof platform that accommodates Suppliers Vetting Process, whereby all product owners on the platform are thoroughly vetted before their products are listed for sale to buyers in any part of the country at the convenience of the subscribers through the use of internet enabled devices like smart phones, desktops, laptops etc.

Mr Kamal said the official launch of the service will hold in Osapa London, Lekki, Lagos on Wednesday January 29, 2020 and that prior launch officials of Petrohub have been engaging key stakeholders in the industry to tap into the seamless automation platform for efficiency and ease of doing business in a contemporary method.

He further stated that part of the dividends of the platform is the possibility of a fast products loading system in which Petrohub will automate payment of all the accrued service charges to all stakeholders.

In the unlikely situation of Product theft, he added that there is what Petrohub introduces on its platform which is Buyers’ Protection such that in the events or cases of product theft or under-delivery, the buyer would be refunded from the transporters’ fund (withheld as payment balance) while pointing out that erring transporters would be sanctioned which is a form of mechanism put in place to build subscribers confidence about the integrity of the platform.

He said “We are Nigeria’s number one Oil and Gas solution provider with a mission to provide a real-time innovative technology marketplace where oil and gas suppliers, buyers and product owners will interact and trade.”

Continuing, “We are pleased to inform industry players that our objectives are meant to provide real-time electronic marketplace where depots owners, suppliers and buyers of petroleum products will transact business with minimal human interference with value for money”.

Kamal added, “having studied the market critically we felt it would be appropriate to make the processes more efficient by providing live information and data on actual products volume available at the depots, live pricing and fleet tracking for potential buyers and to as well promote the sales of products and services of our clients in a transparent manner and in tandem with international best practices. People can access our platform through, http://petrohub.com.ng “
