The Israeli government has officially reacted to the purported appearance of IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in Jerusalem or anywhere near Israeli territory contrary to some media reports.
While faulting the veracity of pictures and videos of leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu when he was praying in the holy city which was populated on the social media, the Jewish government maintained that the misleading footages and images were not in tandem with current realities.
This revelation was made by the spokesperson of the Israeli foreign ministry, Mr. Emmanuel Nashon during an interaction with several African Journalists in Jerusalem with the intention to douse any perceived diplomatic row between Nigeria Israel.
“There are no details about his recent visit to this country yet,” Nashon said adding that the pictures and videos could be old ones.
Speaking on their relationship with Africa, Nashon said Israel had been misconstrued, adding that they were getting back to their old friends.
“Our relationship with Africa is extremely important,” he noted, insisting that the continent stands to benefit more from Israel.
“Israel is a peaceful nation that believes in the process of the world at this changing times,” Emmanuel disclosed, adding that they have different religions such as Judaism, Christianity and Islam that live peacefully with one another.
