Merry Christmas And A Happy New Year To All Our Readers

Dear Readers,

The most awaited festival of 2022, Christmas, is finally here. We wish all our readers a Merry Christmas.

Whilst we describe 2022 as a year full of opportunities, grace and progress, we are also not unmindful of the challenges and threats it was accompanied with, yet God miraculously showed up for us to keep veracitydesk.com.ng alive and even coming out stronger with deeper commitment to meet the expectations, demands and satisfactions of our numerous readers, contributors, advertisers, technical partners and patrons.

However, we’re delighted with what has taken place since we officially came on board four years ago. Our readership numbers are becoming impressive beyond what we dared imagine. We spent literally nothing on starting it up or maintaining it but praise the Lord, it’s been a wonderful journey so far!

We are equally excited with the dedication of our team players who have contributed to the success of  deploying professional competence and discipline in carrying out our operations  which are in tandem with ethical standards of journalism.

As we all know, this 2022 Christmas is coinciding with the period of political campaigns to usher in a new administration in 2023, therefore for us as gatekeepers we have consistently used our platform to provide and project informed, balanced and unbiased contents, through our news coverage, interviews, opinions editorials, etc.

We also make it a duty to positively shape the minds of the voters, conscientising them about their civic responsibilities at a time like this and the need not to sell their votes. We equally extend our advocacy to the security agents, politicians as well as the umpire (INEC) such that the election can be adjudged transparent, free, fair and credible.

It is our prayer that the outcome of 2023 general elections will herald victory and prosperity for our nation under peace and national cohesion.

Again, our gratitude and appreciation for a wonderful maiden year to all of you. We humbly pray that we can quietly move on from strength to strength with all glory due the Lord Almighty.

For this Christmas and New Year, we pray also that all of our readers, contributors, advertisers and patrons stay safe and enjoy the company of their dear friends and family members, while we remember that amidst the joy of gifts, the greatest of them all was the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

On behalf of everyone here at veracitydesk.com.ng, thank you again for all your loyal support. We wish everyone a wonderful Christmas and festive New Year!

Sincerely,

Emmanuel Ajibulu
