The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye leads his congregation on Sunday prayer walk in Lagos against the killing of Christians and insecurity in Nigeria.
Adeboye who encourages members to join in the walk against killings of the innocent that has recently become rampant in the country said there is need for Christians to pray against the ungodly acts.
While speaking at the church’s headquarters of the church situated in Ebute-meta in Lagos, the General Overseer said God is capable of putting an end to terrorism in the country through prayers.
According to him: God knows where the terrorists are hiding and He can send His light to the forest and destroy the works of the terrorists.
Earlier, messages with hashtags #CANagainstbloodshed and #notokillings has been passed across to the Christians and members of RCCG all over the country to partake in a prayer walk against bloodshed in the country.
Below is the message: “Please join the Christian Association of Nigeria and the RCCG in their quest to end killings in Nigeria. Kindly help share these images several times every day on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc adding the hashtags #CANagainstbloodshed and #notokillings in all posts.
“Also join us tomorrow Sunday 2nd February 2020 as we embark on a peaceful rally, in all parishes of RCCG nationwide, against these killings in Nigeria.
