IN PICTURES: Olubadan, Oba Adetunji Finally Laid To Rest

The remains of Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji has been laid to rest.

The monarch was laid to rest in his private palace at Popoyemoja in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The monarch died early on Sunday morning at the University College Hospital Ibadan.

He was buried  according to Islamic rites.

The body was lowered into the grave at about 4:30 pm amid wailings and eulogies from family members and other sympathisers.

Thereafter, the body was initially covered with planks before it was covered with earth.
