Ace Nollywood star, producer and director, Segun Arinze, has raised alarm over the activities of an impostor who has been misleading unsuspecting members of the public and fans on the Instagram social media platform.
Arinze, who is widely known to be one of the most sought after actors in Nigeria, revealed this on Thursday evening so that his colleagues in the movie industry, business associates and the public at large could be accordingly guided.
The veteran actor in a terse message sent to the media and some of his fans stated:
“Please there’s a fraudster who is using my name to defraud people on Instagram. I do not have any handle on Instagram with segunarinze official. I know nothing about it. The idiot put various pictures of me and he is also impersonating me. This is a disclaimer. Please do not fall for his tricks and antics. You are advised not to fall prey. Be warned. Thank you.”
