In a bid to alleviate the suffering of some vulnerable and widows during the COVID-19 lock down, the Aderoyose Fadola Foundation, presented foodstuffs to residents of Idimu-Egbe a suburb of Lagos and cash to the widows at llara Mokin in lfedore Local Government Area of Ondo State yesterday.
These palliative measures were to cushion the effects of Covid-19 among the vulnerable and widows in the designated areas.
Chairman Board of Trustees, Mr Emmanuel Fadola, said the cardinal objectives of the Foundation which is people-centred, it is not out of place to be part of what is presently ongoing in the country by the government as a compliment and aimed at putting similes on some of those who are hard hit by the lockdown in the community where we operate.
The cash were given to widows in llara Mokin area of lfedore Local Government Area of Ondo State yesterday and the food items were distributed at ldimu-Egbe a Lagos suburb. He added that the beneficiaries were picked without discrimination across the designated areas.
“My philosophy in life, based on my background, is that nobody is too poor to give and nothing is too small to give. No matter how poor you are, there is somebody you are richer than,” he said.
Over the years, AFF has been periodically given notebooks for the school children in part of Ondo and Ekiti States over the years and we are planning to extend our gesture to other groups of the society in nearer future, appealed to other good spirited Nigerians to help the poor and vulnerable during this period.
