Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong has said that the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari will usher in a prosperous Nigeria among the comity of nations.
Governor Lalong, in a statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mark Longyen, on Wednesday, while reacting to the declaration of President Buhari by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), said Nigeria will witness massive development.
“Mr President, your taking over the reins of power in 2015 and re-election now is God’s divine intervention to usher in a new and prosperous Nigeria that will be the country of destination for the global community.
“I congratulate you on your well-deserved, long expected and God-ordained victory, your re-election is, no doubt, an eloquent statement of the people’s approval of your anti-corruption and anti-insurgency war.
“The next four years will provide the opportunity for you to consolidate on your dogged commitment to turning around the nation’s economy to a global economic giant of sorts.”
Lalong urged APC supporters to replicate the massive votes they gave to the President at the forthcoming March 9 governorship and state houses of assembly elections countrywide.
