The Taraba State Chapter of the All Progressive Congress on Sunday said President Muhamadu Buhari will, on Monday, pay a ‘thank you visit’ to the people of the state after the presidential election.
Publicity Secretary of the party in Taraba, Mr. Aaron Arthimas, told journalists that the President’s visit to the state will strengthen the party ahead of Saturday’s governorship and state Assembly elections.
“The President was impressed with the crowd that received him when he visited the state for presidential campaign.
“The President was also happy with the result of the presidential election in the state, which was overwhelming.
“So, after taking stock of the two events, the party at the national level discovered that APC can win in Taraba State if the people are engaged with seriousness and good promises.
“When the President visits on Monday, it will give the party hope and more confidence to win the Saturday state elections,” Arthimas said.
