A former governorship aspirant in Ekiti State, Senator Gbenga Aluko is dead.
The Ode Ekiti born politician said to have died this evening after he collapsed in his office in Abuja.
Report says he was rushed to an hospital where he eventually gave up the ghost.
An aide to the former lawmaker confirmed to Progress FM that Senator Aluko was not sick nor exhibit any symptom of sickness.
Reacting to the unfortunate incident, the former Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Ayodele Fayose in a terse condolence message sent to the publisher of veracitydesk.com.ng wrote:
“This Life is nothing but VANITY. Senator Gbenga Aluko my brother …RIP”
