BREAKING: DSS Finally Releases Sowore From Custody

Omoyele Sowore, Pulisher of Sahara Reporter, has been released from the Department of State Services’ custody on Thursday.

This intervention came few hours after a Federal High Court in Abuja gave the agency 24-hours to release the convener of the Revolution Now protest, Omoyele Sowore from detention.

Sowore was arrested on August 3 for planning series of protests to demand good governance.

Meanwhile he first met his bail on November 6, one month ago, but he was not released.

Mr Sowore’s lawyer, Mr Femi Falana also confirmed that the DSS paid N100,000 fine to his client, Sowore as ordered by the judge.
