Bauchi State has confirmed a second cases of the coronavirus disease on Thursday.
This was made known by the Bauchi Commissioner for Health, Dr. Aliyu Maigoro, during a press conference.
He said the second case is a 62-year-old patient.
The Commissioner said the Governor is currently in isolation after testing positive for the disease.
The governor had shook hands and exchanged pleasantries with the son of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Mohammad, who was confirmed positive by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control.
