Beverly Naya Holding Ace As Nollywood Superstar

With no shred of doubt, Beverly Naya is one of the most talented and gracious actresses with natural aptitude in the Nigerian movie industry.

The 30-year-old actress is considered to be a poster girl for Nollywood, the booming Nigerian movie industry, which according to UNESCO, is the world’s second-largest film producer after India’s Bollywood.

Beverly is now one of Africa’s most instantly recognizable faces and has won several accolades and awards for Best Actress in various categories. Having featured in countless of movies, the beautiful thespian is one of those that made the Nollywood brand what it is today.

Beverly is seamlessly a fashionista, who would not need to try too hard to make an entrance on red carpets whether in Nigeria or at the international scene. Well, truth be told, the beautiful and simple young woman sure knows how best to dress to magnify her true beauty which often pleases the aesthetic senses.

Beverly has equally released ‘Skin’, a classical documentary initiative that explores the problems of bleaching and colourism in Nigeria.

The project marked her debut as a producer which was premiered in Lagos earlier in 2019, precisely on Sunday, March 30 with industry colleagues in attendance. Directed by Etim Effiong, ‘Skin’ is a feature documentary about exploring through identity, the meaning of beauty in all the different shades of black.

It is set in present-day Lagos, where Nollywood actress, Naya goes on a journey to learn about contrasting perceptions of beauty revealing an impressive cast lineup including rapper Phyno, actress Diana Yekinni, Eku Edewor and crossdresser, Bobrisky.

Beverly Naya was recently sighted in Lagos Sheraton hotel during a product launch organized by a tech giant, LG Electronics where she openly excercised humility about her success and stardom. Her attitude to the audience drawn from all walks of life at the event was utterly commendable.

Besides, she naturally displayed her high level of comptence whilst giving her speeches and presentations to the organized crowd at the function suite of Lagos Sheraton. She professionally monitored the agenda to ensure the event runs smoothly, especially whilst she was introducing performers and speakers at the event.

The thorough bred theatre practitioner conveniently displayed distinct ability to make her audience feel at ease and she created a good atmosphere with strong time management skills.

Her uncommon dexterity distinguishes her as a personality who truly enjoys entertaining with great sense of humor. Beverly’s versatility in acting and as a commère is essentially phenomenal.

In retrospect, she began acting at the age of 17 whilst studying at Roehampton University in England and has presently recorded many rare feats and raising the bar of excellence for industry stakeholders.
